Basel Committee issues Progress Report on Adopting the Principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has issued its fourth report on the progress in adopting the principles for effective risk data and aggregation and risk reporting. Basel’s Principles for effective risk data and aggregation and risk reporting was initially published in 2013 in response to the GFC of 2007/8. The aim was to help banks strengthen their risk management practices and resolvability.

The progress report will review the progress of Global Systematically Important Banks (G-SIBs) in adopting the guidance.
