The Caribbean Association of Banks (CAB), in collaboration with the German Embassy in Port of Spain and the Caribbean Energy Chamber (CEC), invites banking professionals and stakeholders across the region to participate in a virtual workshop on:

Project Finance for Energy Efficiency: Dedicated Financing Structures for Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and Energy Performance Contract (EPC) Projects

📅 Date: September 9, 2026
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM AST

As Caribbean countries seek to strengthen energy security, manage increasing electricity demand, and advance their energy transition goals, energy efficiency remains one of the most cost-effective strategies for reducing energy consumption and attracting sustainable investment.

This workshop will explore how Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs) can unlock private capital and accelerate the implementation of energy efficiency projects across the Caribbean. Drawing on both regional and international experience, participants will gain insights into financing structures tailored to the unique cash flow and risk characteristics of energy efficiency investments, as well as opportunities for adaptation within the Caribbean banking sector.
