LexisNexis Risk Solutions has published their UK report: Future Financial Crime Risks 2017. The report builds on research from over 170 financial crime experts on issues such as Brexit, de-risking and regulation. The report assess the current regulatory landscape and offers solutions on how some of the inefficiencies in the framework could be addressed.

Key Findings:

  • A new ‘Culture of Trust’ is developing, in the UK
  • The Criminal Finances Act 2017 is (tentatively) seen as a positive step
  • Cross-Jurisdictional crime remains a challenge
