Rising Global Economic Growth

The IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook (see below) projects that global growth will increase from 3.1% in 2016 to 3.5% in 2017 and 3.6% in 2018. The growth is fueled by rising activity in developing and emerging economies as commodity prices improve and commodity importers experience healthy growth.
