Solar Power Generation Plant begins operation in Jamaica

Jamaica’s first solar power generation plant has begun its operations. The facility is expected to produce 20 megawatts of power which will be supplied to the national grid.

The plant is expected to power 20,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by the equivalent of taking 7000 cars off the road.
