St. Kitts and Nevis voices its intent to eventually phase out the CBI program

Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris has stated that while the programme has generated significant revenues, the associated risks and changing global perceptions are a major downside. The Prime Minister explained that his intention was to bolster the other revenue generating sectors of the economy to cover shortfall in revenue resulting from eventually phasing out the CBI programme.
