WannaCry shows Cyber Protection is an essential cost of doing business

The WannaCry cyber-attack hit 200,000 computers across the globe, shutting down some of the largest systems in the world by exploiting a vulnerability in Microsoft’s operating system.

Interestingly, Microsoft released a patch a month earlier to patch this vulnerability, but many organizations seemed to have missed it.

Cyber threats are a very real and costly problem and businesses need to be alert to changes in cyber space.
