Inspector Warren Williams, head of the Cybercrimes Unit at Jamaica Constabulary Force, argues that Jamaica has lost in excess of US$100M due to cyber-crimes and more than 200 cases were reported. The detective implored the public to use caution when disclosing personal information on the internet. The Inspector warns that his studies show traditional crimes being exponentially outnumbered by criminal activities in cyberspace.
